Are you newly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in CT, RI or Western Mass? We understand the challenges this diagnosis can bring and would like to offer non-medical support.
The Girl Power program, launched in 2024, brings together girls living with Type 1 Diabetes for quarterly events and activities. It’s designed to create connection and friendship through shared experiences. Girl Power events are led by teen volunteers living with Type 1 Diabetes and fully subsidized by Elbowbumpkid Inc. Parents are able to connect while the girls create lasting relationships.
