PARTNERSHIPS
TK.Type 1

TK.Type 1 is a small nonprofit organization on Long Island—similar to Elbowbumpkid Inc—that provides scholarships to families
affected by Type 1 diabetes, helping them access educational coaching. This support is especially valuable for families at a turning point in
their care journey or those seeking guidance in managing T1D challenges. Last year, TK.Type 1 sponsored a family from Connecticut, who
found the experience empowering. As two small nonprofits operating in the same region, TK.Type 1 and Elbowbumpkid Inc. work in
partnership to support our shared mission: helping families thrive despite a T1D diagnosis. If you're interested in learning more about their
scholarship program, please reach out to TK.Type 1 directly. https://www.tktype1.org

Wicked Gluten Free is a New England business dedicated to helping the celiac + gluten free community. With 6%+ of our T1D community
diagnosed with celiac, we have partnered with them to offer admission to their gluten free festivals each year. Additionally, Wicked Gluten
Free offered Elbowbumpkid Inc a free table at their Mohegan Sun festival so we could facilitate important market research for our celiac
project. We thank Wicked Gluten Free for their continuous dedication to the celiac community and appreciate their support. We look
forward to continuing to attend the festivals each year to learn from the celiac community! Sign up for their festivals if you are gluten free!
Catchafire

Catchafire connects skilled professionals with small nonprofits, offering volunteer support across a wide range of services. We’re
incredibly thankful to Catchafire for providing a trusted platform that empowers small nonprofits like ours to grow and thrive through volunteer expertise.
4imprint

4imprint’s One by One program has been a tremendous support to our small nonprofit, allowing us to provide helpful items like sling bags and pump belts to the families we serve. We’re incredibly fortunate to have great friends at Friends of Feeney. While their mission focuses on supporting children and families after heartbreak and tragedy, their impact extends far beyond that. While we enjoy every event we facilitate for our community, we treasure our partnership with Merlin’s Magic Wand which enables us to offer
a Magical Day Out each summer. Merlin’s Magic Wand donates a number of tickets plus Elbowbumpkid Inc sponsors magical moments for the children impacted by Type 1 Diabetes. Families explore the park by age group to inspire location connections. Both newly diagnosed and
existing families learn from each other while kids--well they are able to just be a kid for the day. Thank you Merlin’s Magic Wand, we truly couldn’t offer this magical day out each year without your support and your dedication to our mission.
C.E. Floyd

As a virtual, volunteer-driven nonprofit, we don’t have a dedicated space to host the free events we love offering our community—like game
nights, small-scale Girl Power gatherings, and craft sessions. That’s why we’re so grateful to C.E. Floyd for generously providing access to their Middletown office space several times a year, completely free of charge. The location is ideal—centrally located in the state—making it
accessible for many of our participating families. Thank you, C.E. Floyd, for your ongoing support of the nonprofit community and for championing Elbowbumpkid Inc. in such a meaningful way!
