GIRL POWER
The Girl Power program, launched in 2024, brings together girls living with Type 1 Diabetes for quarterly events and activities. It’s designed to create connection & friendship through shared experiences. Girl Power events are led by teen volunteers living with Type 1 Diabetes and fully subsidized by Elbowbumpkid Inc. Parents are able to connect while the girls create lasting relationships.

Do you have a girl in your family living with Type 1 Diabetes? Stay in the loop about upcoming Girl Power events by signing up for our monthly newsletter! Event logistics are sent prior to event date but are typically held in CT, MA or RI. The next event is in December. (December event details here.)

Future events will be scheduled in March 2026 and December 2026.
